Welcome to Jobs. Our mission is to connect top talent with great employers in a secure, fair, and professional environment. These Community Guidelines set clear expectations for how employers, recruiters, and job seekers interact on our platform.
By accessing or using Jobs, you agree to abide by these Guidelines as well as our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. These rules apply to all user accounts, job postings, candidate profiles, application materials, and on-platform communications.
1. Professional Conduct & Harassment
We require all members of our community to treat each other with dignity and respect.
Zero tolerance for harassment
You may not threaten, stalk, intimidate, abuse, or bully any user, candidate, employer, or platform administrator.
Hate speech & discrimination
We do not tolerate content or conduct that promotes violence, discrimination, or hatred based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, age, veteran status, or any other legally protected category.
Appropriate tone
Keep all interactions strictly professional. Do not send sexually suggestive comments, abusive messages, or solicit personal relationships through hiring channels.
2. Standards for Employers & Recruiters
Employers use Jobs to build great teams. To maintain candidate trust, all hiring activities must be genuine and accurate.
Real, legitimate jobs
Employers must only post real, active opportunities. We may review listings when needed, and ghost postings or deceptive listings are not allowed.
Transparent details
Clearly define the role’s responsibilities, mandatory qualifications, location/workplace requirements (remote, hybrid, on-site), and compensation when required by local laws.
No upfront fees
Employers may not charge job seekers any application, training, placement, equipment, or onboarding fees through the platform.
Prohibited business models
We do not allow postings for multi-level marketing (MLM), pyramid schemes, direct-selling networks, commission-only roles that lack clear structure, or sexually explicit content or services.
Equal opportunity
Postings and hiring decisions must comply with all applicable employment, labor, and non-discrimination laws.
3. Standards for Job Seekers & Candidates
Job seekers rely on Jobs to advance their careers with integrity.
Authentic credentials
Resumes, work history, educational backgrounds, and submitted portfolios must be accurate and truthful. Fabricating credentials, forging documents, or lying about work authorization is prohibited.
Identity integrity
Apply using your own identity — your legal name or any name you’re authorized to use. Impersonation or misrepresentation is not allowed.
Legitimate intent
Submit applications only for positions you genuinely intend to pursue. Do not mass-spam listings with irrelevant applications or test submissions.
4. Communication & Messaging Integrity
Our communication channels are built exclusively for recruitment and hiring.
No spam or unsolicited marketing
Do not use messaging to sell unrelated software, services, lead-generation tools, or commercial products.
No phishing or fraud
Attempting to extract sensitive personal credentials (e.g., bank account numbers, passwords, government IDs) via direct messaging is strictly forbidden.
Off-platform migration
While interviews often move to email or phone calls, do not immediately pressure users off-platform to avoid safety safeguards.
5. Platform Safety & Security
Maintaining the technical and data security of Jobs is essential for everyone.
Data privacy
Please respect people’s privacy. How we handle data is explained in our Privacy Policy. Users may not misuse or improperly disclose personal data obtained through the platform.
No scraping or automation
You may not scrape, crawl, index, or extract data (including resumes, profiles, and job listings) using automated scripts, bots, or browser extensions without prior written permission.
Account security
Do not share your login credentials, create duplicate accounts to bypass moderation, or attempt unauthorized access to other profiles or company records.
6. Enforcement & Account Actions
To protect the community, we take action when we believe it’s necessary. This may include:
Content changes
Removing or unpublishing listings, profiles, or messages.
Account limits
Restricting search visibility, application limits, direct messaging, or platform access.
Suspension or closure
Deactivating, blocking, or permanently closing associated individual accounts or company profiles.
Safety referrals
Escalating fraudulent schemes, security threats, or illegal activity to relevant law enforcement agencies.
Rules regarding paid accounts, access restrictions, and data handling follow our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
7. Reporting Violations
If you spot a listing, profile, or message that doesn’t follow these guidelines, let us know through our contact form or by using any report options on the page if available.
Sending a report helps us keep the platform safe, but it doesn’t guarantee action.
